Next, the certified radiologic technologist must submit a licensing application to the state. Continuing education is required to maintain the license in an active status. Radiology technicians must complete a minimum of 24 hours of continuing education course credits every two years. Limited licensure for x-ray technologists is not recognized in the State of Hawaii.
